Lloyd Harrison
Lloyd Harrison (born June 21, 1977) is a former American football cornerback. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he grew up in Brooklyn and later moved to Long Island, New York. He attended Sewanhaga Central High School in Floral Park and played college football at North Carolina State University, where he also ran track. At NC State, he started at cornerback for three years, totaled 190 tackles with 12 interceptions, and helped the 4x100 relay win a conference title in 1996. He earned third-team All-American honors in 1999 and was a two-time first-team All-ACC selection (1998, 1999).
Harrison was selected in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft (64th overall) by the Washington Redskins. He played for the Redskins (2000), the San Diego Chargers (2001), and the Miami Dolphins (2002), with a stint back with the Redskins in 2003 as an offseason/practice squad member. In the NFL, he compiled 19 tackles and 1 sack.
