This is a short list of Carl Linnaeus's students. Linnaeus (1707–1778) was a Swedish naturalist and professor of medicine at Uppsala University from 1741 to 1777. He created the modern system for naming and classifying living things and influenced science through his many students. The Apostles were his most dedicated students who undertook botanical expeditions to places around the world.
