List of United States records in swimming
USA Swimming certifies two kinds of swimming records in the United States: American records and Americas records. American records are the fastest times by U.S. swimmers, while Americas records are the fastest times by swimmers from any country in the Americas. An asterisk (*) marks records set since the latest USA Swimming records list, and a plus (+) marks records that are also the current world records.
