Mary-Kate and Ashley video games were a short series released from 1999 to 2002 by Acclaim Entertainment. They appeared on Game Boy Color, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and Windows. The games put Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen into various stories, like solving crimes, taking care of horses, or saving a shopping mall from a curse.

Origins
- The series began with a canceled 1998 South Park Game Boy Color project by Crawfish Interactive. Its engine and assets were later reused for two games: Maya the Bee & Her Friends (Europe) and The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley (North America).

Reception
- The games generally got negative reviews. The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley scored about 6/10 from IGN, while Magical Mystery Mall scored around 4/10. The Telegraph praised a game called Pocket Planner.

Sales and legal matters
- Magical Mystery Mall sold about 286,000 copies.
- In 2004, the Olsen twins sued Acclaim over unpaid royalties after an audit. Their attorney, Martin Singer, said Acclaim had taken the Mary-Kate & Ashley franchise and “run it into the ground.”
