Black Jack March
Black Jack March is a march written by Fred K. Huffer in the 1910s in the United States. It is dedicated to General John J. "Black Jack" Pershing. The music is in 6/8 time and features trumpets and drums, with a trumpet call. The original sheet music cover shows General Pershing. When first sold, small orchestra parts cost 25 cents and full scores 40 cents. Fisher Thompson Music Pub. Co. reprinted it in 1919. It is commonly used by music teachers and has a Grade 3. It was included in the March Masters Folio for Band published by Rubank in 1948.
