An overview of Belgium’s passenger rail services

In Belgium, trains are operated by NMBS/SNCB. The main rail network uses three domestic train types on the main lines. To help commuters into Brussels, there are extra peak trains called P trains that run in the mornings and late afternoons on workdays. The Brussels S Train service began in December 2015, taking over many L trains, and S Trains were later introduced in Antwerp, Liège, Ghent and Charleroi. International high‑speed services connect Belgium with the Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria and the United Kingdom. These international services are run by Eurostar, NS International, Deutsche Bahn, ÖBB Nightjet, SNCF, Arriva and European Sleeper. Train services are listed by type and then by number. All services are correct as of May 2020.
