List of All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view events
This is a short guide to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) pay-per-view events.
- AEW formed in early 2019 and held its first PPV, Double or Nothing, on May 25, 2019.
- All In is AEW’s marquee show. The promotion’s “big four” PPVs were Double or Nothing, All Out, Full Gear, and Revolution, later expanded to a “big five” with All In. These are the year’s top events, produced roughly four times a year.
- The COVID-19 era hit in 2020, so most events (Mar 2020–Jul 2021) took place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Limited fans returned in Aug 2020, full capacity in May 2021, and live touring resumed in mid-July 2021.
- In June 2022, AEW added Forbidden Door, a joint PPV with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).
- In late 2023, AEW expanded further with All In, WrestleDream, and Worlds End (in Aug, Oct, and Dec). Dynasty was added in April 2024, bringing the year’s total to nine PPVs.
- AEW PPVs are mostly available in the US on HBO Max (at a discounted price). Other options include Amazon Prime Video in the US, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK; Triller TV, PPV.com, and YouTube in some markets; plus traditional PPV outlets, satellite providers, and sports bars in North America.
- Each event has a free pre-show with preliminary matches. From 2019–2022, these were branded “The Buy-In.” After Tony Khan acquired Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2022, pre-shows used the ROH-style subtitle “Zero Hour.”
- When HBO Max began carrying AEW PPVs in 2025, Zero Hour was turned into a preview format called a “barker,” with prelim matches shown on TV under the Saturday Tailgate Brawl banner.
- The first AEW PPV held in Asia occurred at some point in the federation’s history.
- Overall, there have been 45 AEW PPVs (with 3 more confirmed).
- Some AEW events are themed around certain match types or have annually recurring main events.
