Let's Yoga
Let's Yoga is a fitness video game for the Nintendo DS made by Vanpool and published by Konami. It released in Japan on July 5, 2007, in Europe on November 16, 2007, and in North America on April 29, 2008. The game features 25 yoga lessons and works as an interactive yoga workout guide. It was released at the same time as Let's Pilates.
Players create a profile and learn basic yoga information. The first set of workouts unlocks, and players are asked to judge whether they’re ready to try harder poses based on their own results. There are shorter sets for busy days and poses that can be done while sitting in an office chair. When choosing a pose, the game provides voice and video instructions, but there is no preview before starting. Players must enter their completed exercises, as the game cannot measure actual completion.
Let's Yoga received mostly positive reviews, earning about 76.67% on GameRankings. Critics praised its detailed yoga instructions but noted it may appeal mainly to players who already know yoga. IGN suggested it would appeal to experienced yogis and lacks traditional game features, while PALGN called it a strong complement to Wii Fit, though not for everyone.
