Lago Olivo, meaning “olive tree lake,” is an artificial lake in the Province of Enna, Sicily, Italy. It was created in the early 1980s when the Braemi river was dammed. The lake sits at about 447 meters above sea level and covers 1.1 square kilometers (0.42 sq mi). It has an average depth of 9.1 meters and a maximum depth of 45.4 meters, holding around 10 million cubic meters (350 million cubic feet) of water. The catchment area is 60 square kilometers (23 sq mi). The water residence time is about one year. The main inflow is the Braemi river, and the basin country is Italy.
