Kunnonny
Kunnonny is a small village in the Kottayam district of Kerala, at the foothills of the Western Ghats. It lies about 50 km from Kottayam town and 3 km from Poonjar, with nearby towns including Pala, Kanjirappally, Erattupetta and Poonjar.
The area is mainly agricultural, with rubber farming as the primary activity. About 2,500 people live here, most of whom are farmers or daily wage workers. In recent years, many residents have moved away for work outside Kerala and even abroad. The community includes Hindus and Christians.
Notable landmarks include the Sree Dharma Sastha Temple (Ayyappa) and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. St. Joseph's U P School is run by the church, and the Kunnonny Sree Dharma Sastha Temple is located in the village.
