Killay South
Killay South (Welsh: Cilâ - De) was an electoral ward in the City and County of Swansea, Wales. It covered a mainly rural area including parts of Dunvant, Ilston, Killay, Sketty and Upper Killay, in the Swansea West constituency. The ward's area was about 1.24 square kilometres with a population of 2,239 at the 2011 census (density about 1,806 people per square kilometre). It bordered Dunvant and Killay North to the north, Sketty to the east, Mayals to the south and Fairwood to the west. It elected councillors to Swansea Council, and in 2017 its councillor was Jeffrey William Jones of the Liberal Democrats. Westminster and Senedd constituencies for Killay South were both Swansea West. Elections were held in years including 1995, 1999, 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2017.
