Kenny Brain
Kenny Brain (born August 26, 1988) is a Canadian TV host and contractor. He co-hosted the HGTV Canada show Making It Home with Kortney Wilson. The show ended, and they plan a new series called Life Is Messy for 2025. He is from Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador, and worked as a model before joining Big Brother Canada Season 2 in 2014. He is openly gay, but he initially kept his sexuality private in the house and came out to Sarah Miller a few weeks in. They were voted out on Day 43. Brain says staying in the closet at first sparked important conversations about homophobia and double standards for gay and straight people. After Big Brother, he stopped modeling, trained as a construction contractor, and started his own contracting business in Vancouver. In 2021, he became the co-host of Making It Home when Kortney Wilson's divorce led to a new season. He wants to be a positive LGBTQ role model in construction.
