Kazakhstan national under-21 football team

The Kazakhstan national under-21 football team, nicknamed The Young Hawks, is run by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan. The team is coached by Kairat Nurdauletov and captained by Adilbek Zhumakhanov. They play home games at the Almaty Central Stadium.

Their first international match was Iran 4–0 Kazakhstan in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, on 15 May 1996. The team’s biggest win is 4–1 against Georgia (16 October 2007), and another notable win is Luxembourg 0–3 Kazakhstan (28 March 2017). Their biggest defeats are Greece 5–0 Kazakhstan (16 November 2004) and Spain 5–0 Kazakhstan (25 March 2008).

The team has not yet appeared in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. They compete in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship every two years.
