Karl-Heinz Kamp
Karl-Heinz Kamp, nicknamed “Kalli,” was born on 26 September 1946 in Bingen am Rhein, West Germany. He is a German former football player and coach who played mainly as a defender or midfielder. Kamp began his youth career with Hassia Bingen-Kempten and later played for SC Opel 06 Rüsselsheim, SpVgg Fürth, and Werder Bremen. He spent 14 years with Werder Bremen (1970–1984), making 400 league appearances and scoring 30 goals, and he played 13 seasons in the Bundesliga with the club. After his playing days, he coached Werder Bremen II from 1980 to 1995 and served as an assistant for Werder Bremen from 1985 to 2005. Since 2005 he has worked as a scout for Werder Bremen. He stands 1.73 meters tall.
