Julayi is a 2012 Telugu action-comedy directed by Trivikram Srinivas, starring Allu Arjun as Ravi, Ileana D'Cruz as Madhu, and Sonu Sood as the antagonist Bittu. Produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film released worldwide on 8 August 2012 and runs for about 152 minutes. It opened to positive reviews and became a hit.

Box office and awards: Julayi earned a distributor share of about ₹47.9 crore and grossed around ₹85 crore worldwide, making it the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2012. It won the Nandi Award for Best Popular Feature Film.

Remakes and dubbing: The film was remade in Tamil as Saagasam. It was dubbed in Hindi as Dangerous Khiladi (2013) and released in Malayalam as Gajapokkiri.

Plot: The story follows Bittu, a master thief planning a massive bank robbery. Ravi Narayan, who believes in fast money, crosses paths with Bittu and gets drawn into the crime world. A tense sequence of events includes the bank heist, police action, and threats to Ravi’s family. Ravi falls for Madhu, and with help from DIG Sitaram, he uncovers Bittu’s plan to escape with the money. After a showdown that costs lives, Ravi recovers the money, saves his sister Raji, and stops Bittu. The film ends with Ravi starting a new life after landing a job.
