Jonah Savaiinaea
Jonah M. Savaiinaea (pronounced Sav-uh-ee-NYE-uh) is an American football guard for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. He was born on January 13, 2004, in Tafuna, American Samoa, and went to Saint Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 326 pounds.
Savaiinaea played college football for the Arizona Wildcats from 2022 to 2024. He was a three-star recruit who chose Arizona over several big programs. As a true freshman in 2022, he started all 12 games at right guard, earning FWAA Freshman All-America honors and honorable mention in the Pac-12. In 2023, he moved to right tackle but also played guard, starting all 13 games and again earning Pac-12 honorable mention.
He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 37th overall. He wears number 72, plays offensive guard, and is active for the team. As of 2025, he has played and started 17 NFL games.
