Jirayu Tangsrisuk
Jirayu Tangsrisuk, also known as James Jirayu, is a Thai actor, singer and model. He was born on September 19, 1993, in Phichit, Thailand.
As a child, he enjoyed dancing and singing and played bass in a high school band. He was nicknamed James after James Bond. He studied Communication Arts at Rangsit University and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Retail Business Management.
In 2011 he won a Mistine model contest, which helped launch his entertainment career. He was discovered in 2012 by Charnchalard Dhaweesap of Meta Talent Management and began his work in show business that year. He made his TV debut in 2013 with Khun Chai Puttipat and his film debut in First Love later that year.
Jirayu is known for many roles in films and Thai TV dramas, including Suphapburut Juthathep (2013), Timeline (2014), The One in My Heart (2015), The Loyal Wife (2016), Fallen Angel (2017), Underneath the Same Sky (2018), Game of Affection (2018), Repercussion (2019), Mist of Love (2020), and Prophecy of Love (2020). He also appeared in the drama Krong Kam (2019). In 2021 he released his first mini music album, See More.
For The Loyal Wife, he trained in martial arts in Vietnam at Johnny Tri Nguyen’s Lien Phong Academy in 2015. He has been listed among Thailand’s top-paid actors in 2017 and 2018. Jirayu is 1.85 meters tall and has been represented by Channel 3 since 2012. He married Benjamas Kittipitakkul in 2024.
