Jesup Bees

The Jesup Bees were a minor league baseball team from Jesup, Georgia, that played from 1950 to 1953. They were in Class D of the Georgia State League and had no major league affiliation. Home games were at Milikin Park.

Season highlights:
- 1950: Expansion team, finished 5th with a 69–69 record under manager Herb Stein; about 23,893 in attendance; 14 games back; did not make the playoffs.
- 1951: Won the league regular-season pennant with an 86–43 record under Donald Stoyle, finishing 7.5 games ahead of the second-place team. In the playoffs, the Douglas Trojans swept Jesup 4–0. Don Rudolph went 28–8 with a 2.98 ERA in 285 innings. Attendance was about 23,931.
- 1952: Finished last, 52–73, under Stoyle and player/manager James Warren; attendance about 16,657.
- 1953: Won the pennant again with a 78–46 record under Bill Steinecke; lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Eastman Dodgers, 4–0. Attendance was about 20,629.

After the 1953 season, both Jesup and Eastman folded, and Jesup has not hosted another minor league team. Milikin Park was located at Sunset Boulevard and Milikin Street in Jesup.
