Jeff Dresser
Jeffrey Paul Dresser, born December 30, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in the USL A-League. He grew up with the Michigan Arrows youth club, finished at Flint Southwestern Academy, and played college soccer at Cornerstone University, earning NAIA All-American honors in 1993 (Second-Team) and 1994 (First-Team).
Dresser began his pro career in 1995 with the Grand Rapids Explosion, where he tied for the league’s top scorer. He then spent two seasons with the Charlotte Eagles (1996–1997) as the team moved from the USISL Pro League to the USISL D-3 Pro League, before joining the Indiana Blast in 1998. He remained with the Blast through 2003, a period that included the team’s move up to the USL A-League. Across his pro career, Dresser totaled 202 appearances and 77 goals.
In 2020, Dresser coached the Carmel Christian Cougars to their first state soccer title and a high national ranking, leading to him being named the 2021 NCSCA 4A Coach of the Year.
