Jean-Pierre Büchler
Jean-Pierre Büchler (6 July 1908 – 7 September 1993) was a Luxembourgish politician and agronomist. He belonged to the Christian Social People's Party. Under Prime Minister Pierre Werner, he held several government roles:
- Minister of Agriculture and Viticulture (1964–1974)
- Minister of Public Works (1969–1974)
- Minister of Family (1972–1974)
- Minister of Social Solidarity and Housing (1972–1974)
From 1974 to 1978, he served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the East constituency. In Luxembourg City, a bridge over the railway from Place de la Gare to Bonnevoie is named after him. He was awarded Grand Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau.
