Jean-Louis Agobet
Jean-Louis Agobet (born 21 April 1968) is a French composer. He was born in Blois, Loir-et-Cher. He studied with Philippe Manoury at the Conservatoire de Lyon. After a residency with the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, a recording of his works conducted by François-Xavier Roth on the Timpani label won the 2005 Record of the Year at the Victoires de la musique classique. He teaches composition at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux.
