Jawor County
Jawor County is a county in southwestern Poland, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It was created on January 1, 1999 as part of Poland’s local government reforms. The county covers about 581 square kilometers. Its administrative seat is the town of Jawor, and the only other town in the county is Bolków.
Population and layout
As of 2019, the total population is 50,315. Jawor has about 22,890 residents, Bolków has about 4,990, and the rural areas together have about 22,435 people. The county is divided into six gminas: one urban (Jawor), one urban-rural (Bolków), and four rural (Męcinka, Mściwojów, Paszowice, Wądroże Wielkie).
