Jače manijače
Jače manijače (Harder, You Maniac) is a funk-dance song by Croatian singer Dino Dvornik. It was released in July 1990 as a 12-inch single by Jugoton and is associated with the Kreativni nered era. The single also includes an instrumental version, with A-side Biti sam and B-side Ella EE. The track was recorded in 1990 at Studio Lisinski in Zagreb.
Lyrics were written by Rambo Amadeus, who Dvornik met during the recording of Glupi Hit (Stupid Hit) in 1989; Amadeus wrote the lyrics for this song. The music is a funk/dance style typical of the early Yugoslav scene, written in the key of D major at 120 BPM. The video was filmed in Zagreb and surrounding areas and premiered on HTV in the DJ Is So Hot show. It was directed by Dinko Cepak and Tomislav Hleb and is said to be the first Croatian music video aired on MTV.
Serbian band Zemlja gruva later covered Jače manijače with permission from Dvornik’s wife, Danijela. Their live version debuted in 2011, with a studio version released about 2013.
