ItsOn was a Redwood City, California software company founded in 2008 by Greg Raleigh and Charlie Giancarlo. It built cloud software to help mobile operators run flexible, real-time services for customers. Its platform used network function virtualization to replace hardware-based policy control with software at the edge, overlaying existing networks and working with current billing systems. The stack included a service controller, a service design center, and device clients, letting users buy exact amounts of voice, text, and data, share plans across devices, and control app usage from smartphones.

ItsOn launched Zact Mobile, a mobile virtual network operator, in 2013 and earned awards for its family-oriented features. The company attracted investors, with seed funding around $3 million (2009–2011), a $15.5 million Series B in 2012 led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $12.5 million funding round announced in December 2015 led by Delta Partners Group with participation from Verizon Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Tenaya Capital. In 2013 Best Buy Mobile expanded Zact to over 400 stores. In January 2018 ItsOn filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and began liquidation, and Movistar Mexico later discontinued ItsOn-based service due to the liquidation.
