Irish hip-hop

Irish hip-hop is Ireland's take on the global hip-hop movement that began in New York City in the 1970s, especially in the Bronx. In the 1980s, breakdancing was one of the first hip-hop elements to influence the Irish scene as it started to emerge in Ireland.
