Iisvesi is a large lake in Finland’s Northern Savonia region. It has three connected basins—Iisvesi, Virmasvesi and Rasvanki—and lies in a sparsely populated area near Tervo, Rautalampi, Suonenjoki and northern Kuopio. The water is generally clear. The lake covers about 164.5 square kilometers, with a maximum depth of about 34.5 meters. Its shoreline is very long, around 1,464 kilometers, and the surface sits about 97.9 meters above sea level. Coordinates are roughly 62.77°N, 26.87°E.
