IBU Summer Biathlon
The IBU Summer Biathlon is a sport organized by the International Biathlon Union. It combines trail running or roller skiing with rifle shooting. It is based on the winter biathlon, the Olympic sport that pairs cross-country skiing with shooting. The Summer Biathlon World Championships have been held every year since 1990, and trail running was part of the championships until 2009.
