Hypolepis (plant)
Hypolepis (beadfern) is a genus of ferns first described in 1806. The name comes from Greek and means "under scale." These ferns occur in tropical and subtropical regions around the world, mainly in the Americas, but also in Africa, Asia, Australia, and on many oceanic islands.
