Hugh Desmond Weibgen, born on 28 October 2004 in Brisbane, is an Australian cricketer who plays as an all‑rounder. He bats right‑handed and bowls right‑arm off spin. He has been part of Queensland, Sydney Thunder, and Brisbane Heat.

Early life
Weibgen went to Brisbane Grammar School and played junior cricket for Valley District Cricket Club.

Career highlights
- 2023–24: named on a rookie contract with Queensland; a back injury limited his season, but he was upgraded to a full contract in April 2024.
- 2024–25: joined Sydney Thunder as a local replacement for Tanveer Sangha and made his Big Bash League debut on 3 January 2025 as a concussion substitute.
- 2025–26: made his Queensland List A debut and in his second match scored 115 not out off 94 balls to beat Western Australia.
- Under-19: captained Australia at the 2024 Under-19 World Cup in South Africa, where he scored a century against England U19 and Australia won the tournament. He was named in ESPNcricinfo’s Team of the Tournament (average 50.66, strike rate 83).

Other notes
Weibgen also served as a substitute fielder in a Test between Australia and India in December 2024 and was chosen for the Prime Minister’s XI in 2025 against England Lions.
