Hochtaunus is an electoral district for the German Bundestag in the state of Hesse. It elects one member by first-past-the-post voting and is numbered 175 since 2025.

Location and borders
- Located in southwestern Hesse, it covers most of Hochtaunuskreis and the northeastern part of Limburg-Weilburg.
- As of the 2021 election, it includes all of Hochtaunuskreis except Königstein im Taunus, Kronberg im Taunus, and Steinbach (Taunus), plus the municipalities Beselich, Löhnberg, Mengerskirchen, Merenberg, Runkel, Villmar, Weilburg, Weilmünster and Weinbach from Limburg-Weilburg.

Population and area
- Population: about 252,300 (2019)
- Electorate: about 179,842 (2021)
- Major towns: Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Oberursel (Taunus), Friedrichsdorf
- Area: 812.5 square kilometers

History and name
- Created in 1949 (originally called Obertaunuskreis). It was renamed Hochtaunuskreis in 1972 and the current name Hochtaunus has been used since 1976.
- The district number has changed several times: 10 (1949), 135 (1953–1976), 133 (1980–1998), 177 (2002–2005), 176 (2009–2021), and 175 (2025–).
- Its borders were last adjusted for the 2002 election.

Current representative
- Markus Koob of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has represented Hochtaunus since 2013 and was re-elected in 2017, 2021 and 2025.
