Has Catley
Has Catley (full name Evelyn Haswell Catley) was a New Zealand rugby union player who later became a coach. He was born on 23 September 1915 in Hamilton, New Zealand, and died on 23 March 1975 in the same city. He stood 1.83 meters tall and weighed about 90 kilograms, and he attended King's College in Auckland. Catley played as a hooker and spent most of his provincial career with Waikato, from 1935 to 1955. He represented New Zealand’s national team, the All Blacks, from 1946 to 1949, appearing in 21 matches including seven international tests. After retiring as a player, he served as co-coach and later a selector for Waikato. He worked as a farmer.
