Gwen Sterry, full name Gwendolyne Reingale Sterry Simmers (1905–1987), was an English tennis player active in the 1920s and 1930s.

Early life
- Born in Surrey, England.
- Daughter of Charlotte Cooper, a five-time Wimbledon champion.
- Won the Junior Singles British Championship in 1922.

Tennis career
- Wimbledon: competed eight times in singles. Best result was reaching the fourth round in 1931, where she lost to Hilde Krahwinkel. In 1927 she edged a set against Helen Wills, one of only a few players to win a set against Wills during her dominant period.
- Doubles: reached Wimbledon quarterfinals in 1925 and 1929; US Championships doubles semifinalist in 1927.
- Mixed doubles: Wimbledon third round in 1926 and 1931.
- Wightman Cup: part of the British team that lost to the United States in 1927; she won her doubles match with Betty Hilton.

Other achievements
- Won the doubles title at the British Hard Court Championships in 1926 (Torquay) with Betty Nuthall.
- Runner-up in doubles at Bournemouth in 1932 with Kitty McKane Godfree.
- Won the Surrey Championships singles title in 1932.

Personal life
- Married Scottish rugby international William Simmers on 9 July 1932 in Surbiton.
- Died in 1987 at age 82; death registered in Helensburgh, Scotland.
