Grimsby School of Art
Grimsby School of Art was started in 1886 in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, England. Since 2004 it has been part of the Grimsby Institute.
Its history goes back to an art class begun in 1886. Students received certificates from the South Kensington Department of Science & Art, which later became the Royal College of Art.
The building for the school, later named Grimsby College of Art & Design, was designed in 1894 by Herbert Scaping. The building is now derelict, and the Art School became the East Coast College of Art and Design, part of the Grimsby Institute since 2004.
