Greg Tempest
Gregory Tempest (born 28 December 1993) is a Northern Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rugby Town. He was born in Nottingham, England, and started his career with Notts County’s youth system, turning professional in 2013.
Tempest spent the early part of his career at Notts County, including loan spells at Ilkeston and Boston United. He then signed for Lincoln City in 2015, followed by time with Nuneaton Town, Gainsborough Trinity (loan), Basford United, Matlock Town, Grantham Town, Gedling Miners Welfare, and Carlton Town. He also had a dual registration with Belper Town and a loan to Quorn, and in 2025 joined Rugby Town.
Internationally, Tempest is eligible to play for Northern Ireland through his late grandfather, Bill Corkhill. He earned six caps for the Northern Ireland under-21 team, making his U21 debut on 30 May 2013 against Cyprus and being named Man of the Match in a 1–0 win over Cyprus on 19 November 2013.
