Green Theatre (Yaşıl teatr) is an open-air theatre in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was built in the mid-1960s on the initiative of mayor Alish Lambaranski and can seat about 2,500 people for important cultural events. The theatre stopped operating in 1993. In August 2005, President Ilham Aliyev ordered repairs, and at the reopening he said he hoped it would become a favorite entertainment spot for the people of Baku.
