Goin' Bulilit
Goin' Bulilit (lit. “going little”) is a Philippine children's sketch comedy show. It aired on ABS-CBN and later on Kapamilya Channel. The show features kids performing funny sketches, games, and parodies of popular TV shows and movies. It’s known for short segments like Palarong Pambata (kids’ games), Use in a Sentence, and Ano Daw (one-liner jokes).
The show was created by Edgar Mortiz as a spin-off of the 1980s comedy Goin' Bananas. It premiered on February 6, 2005 and ran on ABS-CBN’s Yes Weekend! lineup until August 4, 2019. Its first eight seasons included a large group of young actors who became famous later.
In 2015, Goin' Bulilit celebrated its 10th anniversary with alumni returning to guest or join in sketches. After the 2019 run, the show’s first eight seasons were rerun on A2Z, Jeepney TV, and Kapamilya Channel.
In May 2024, ABS-CBN announced a comeback for a ninth season. Auditions for new child cast members were held on May 25. The show returned on July 1, 2024 as a daily program on Kapamilya Channel, with online simulcasts on Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and All TV. The revival introduced a new cast, along with It’s Showtime Kids (Argus, Briseis, Enicka, Imogen, Kelsey, Kulot, Jaze). The 2024 revival ended on September 27, 2024, as scheduling changes led to reruns and shifts to other shows.
Goin' Bulilit has launched many young stars who later became well known, including Julia Montes, Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Miles Ocampo, and John Manalo.
A Best of Goin' Bulilit DVD was released on December 27, 2007, featuring top sketches, spoofs, bloopers, and interviews with the kids.
