Glenn Micallef (born 30 July 1989) is a Maltese civil servant and politician from the Labour Party. He studied at the University of Malta, earning a bachelor’s degree in commerce and economics and a master’s degree in European law. As a student, he was president of Pulse in 2010.

He began his career at Malta’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, later leading the EU Coordination Department and the Brexit Unit. In January 2020 he was named European affairs advisor to Prime Minister Robert Abela and then headed Malta’s Brexit Unit to coordinate Brexit preparations.

In November 2020 he was appointed Head of Secretariat to the Prime Minister (chief of staff) and served until June 2024, when he resigned and was replaced by Mark Mallia. In July 2024 he was announced as Malta’s nominee for European Commissioner. He had a hearing with the European Parliament on 4 November 2024, and from 1 December 2024 he serves as European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport.

Outside politics, he was vice president of Zabbar St Patrick FC until September 2024. His wife is an architect and a local councillor in Kalkara.
