Gipping Great Wood
Gipping Great Wood is a 25.9-hectare nature site in Suffolk, south of the village of Gipping. It is an ancient woodland that has been traditionally managed by coppicing, with some trees left to grow tall. The woods include many hornbeam trees, along with oak and ash. Wet rides, a pond and a stream add to the habitat for wildlife. The area is private land with no public access. Location: grid reference TM 075 624 (about 52.221°N, 1.036°E).
