Ghetto Blaster (Push Button Objects album)
Ghetto Blaster is the studio album by American hip hop producer Push Button Objects. It was released on April 22, 2003, through Chocolate Industries and runs about 47 minutes. The album follows his 2000 release Dirty Dozen and mixes hip hop with electronic sounds. Its earlier singles include "360 Degrees" (2000) and "Fly" (2002).
Critics gave mixed to positive reviews. AllMusic rated it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it a strong reinvention in underground hip-hop production. Pitchfork gave it 7.2 out of 10, noting solid production but that Push Button Objects didn’t stand out as much as some peers. Stylus Magazine gave it a C+. The album reached number 19 on CMJ’s Hip-Hop 2003 chart.
