Overview
German submarine U-1210 was a World War II-era Type VIIC U-boat of Nazi Germany’s Kriegsmarine. Ordered on 2 April 1942, it was laid down on 14 July 1943 at F Schichau GmbH in Danzig (yard number 1580), launched on 9 February 1944, and commissioned on 22 April 1944 under Oberleutnant zur See Paul Gabert. The submarine saw no combat success and was sunk on 3 May 1945 by US fighter-bombers off Eckernförde. The wreck lies near Eckernförde at about 54.47°N, 9.85°E.

Career

- Fate: sunk on 3 May 1945 by US fighter-bombers from XXIX TAC, 9th Air Force, off Eckernförde
