Georg Sørensen (born 15 May 1995 in Herning, Denmark) is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender. He catches with his left hand, is 178 cm tall (5 ft 10 in) and weighs 80 kg (176 lb). He currently plays for the Aalborg Pirates in the Metal Ligaen. Sørensen has played for several teams, including Herning Blue Fox, Frederikshavn White Hawks, Almtuna IS, and Södertälje SK. He has represented Denmark at the World Junior Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015, and in 2013 became only the second goalie to score a goal in an IIHF event. He grew up in Herning and played youth hockey for Herning IK; his professional career began in 2011 and is ongoing.
