GURPS Aliens is a 1990 sourcebook for the GURPS role-playing game. It describes 28 alien races that can be used with GURPS Space, and it also works with GURPS Horror or GURPS Supers. The book provides ready-to-use aliens such as the An Phar, pig-like philosophers; the Banduch, powerful psychic dinosaurs; and the Verms, whose goal is to eat the galaxy. It came out before Fantasy Folk. About a third of the book contains new rules that were already outdated by the revised Supers edition. It was written by Chris W. McCubbin along with W. G. Armintrout, William A. Barton, Steve Jackson, Creede Lambard, and Sharleen Lambard, with cover art by Michael Whelan. The 128-page book requires the GURPS Basic Set. It helped expand the GURPS Space setting and was reviewed by David L. Pulver in Challenge #49, who praised its imaginative aliens and clear organization, calling it a valuable sourcebook and a good source of ideas for science-fiction role-playing games.
