Fort William (federal electoral district)

Fort William was a federal electoral district in Ontario, represented in the House of Commons from 1925 to 1974. It was created in 1924 from parts of Fort William–Rainy River and initially covered the southern parts of Rainy River, Kenora and Thunder Bay districts near the Canada–US border. In 1947 its boundaries were adjusted to include the City of Fort William and nearby southern areas, and in 1966 it included the City of Fort William plus several townships in Thunder Bay District. The riding was abolished in 1976 and merged into Thunder Bay–Atikokan.
