Florida State Seminoles women's soccer
Florida State Seminoles women's soccer represents Florida State University in NCAA Division I and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Founded in 1995, the team plays its home games at the Seminole Soccer Complex in Tallahassee, a venue that seats about 1,600. The program’s colors are garnet and gold, and head coach Brian Pensky is in his fourth season.
FSU is one of the nation’s top programs. They have made 26 NCAA Tournament appearances and reached the College Cup 15 times, making the national final eight times and winning five national titles in 2014, 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2025. They were runners-up in 2007, 2013, and 2020.
In ACC play, the Seminoles have won multiple regular-season titles (including 2009, 2012, 2014, 2020, 2022, and 2023) and many conference tournaments (2011, 2013–2016, 2018, 2020–2024, 2025).
The program has produced many All-Americans and NWSL draftees. Mark Krikorian stepped down as head coach on March 29, 2022, and Brian Pensky, hired from Tennessee, quickly found success—leading the team to the College Cup in his first season and capturing national titles in 2023 (undefeated) and 2025. Florida State has one of the most storied histories in women’s college soccer, with frequent College Cup appearances and multiple national championships.
