Fifty50 is a punk rock band from Leipzig in eastern Germany. They formed in 1998 and played their first show in early 1999. In January 2000 they won the audience award at the Band of the Year competition in Leipzig. After a few tries they released their self-titled album in 2001. The band mainly played in eastern Germany but also appeared at big festivals like With Full Force and Force Attack. In 2004 they were invited to tour with ((tam)) on their final tour. In 2005 they released their second album, titled 2. In June 2005 they did a two-week tour through Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi; in February 2006 they played venues in the UK. Since 2008 they have been on hiatus, and their third album remains unfinished. Band members: Holger joined sicksinus from 2007 to 2014; Tilo (guitar) and Marcus (who switched from drums to bass and vocals) are with Dr.Tentorkel.
