Faversham Almshouses are historic charitable homes in Faversham, Kent, England. They are a Grade II listed building run by the trustees of Faversham Municipal Charities. The first almshouses were founded for six widows in 1614 by Thomas Mendfield. In 1721, Thomas Napleton funded six more houses for six men. In 1840, Henry Wreight, a local solicitor and former mayor, left money to rebuild the almshouses on a larger scale. The new design was by architects Hooker and Wheeler of Brenchley, and the work was completed in 1863. The builders were G W Chinnock Bros of Southampton. The almshouses were modernised in 1982 at a cost of £1 million (about £4.46 million in 2023).
