Faver-Dykes State Park is a Florida state park located about 15 miles south of St. Augustine, near the I-95 and US 1 interchange, and next to Pellicer Creek, a designated state canoe trail. The park offers fishing, picnicking, boating and canoeing, camping, and wildlife viewing. Wildlife includes white-tailed deer, bobcats, river otters, and many birds such as bald eagles, falcons, hawks, egrets, wood storks, white ibis, wild turkeys, and herons. Amenities include a full-facility campground, a primitive youth campground, a boat ramp, two half-mile nature trails, and two covered pavilions. Florida state parks are open daily from 8 a.m. to sundown year-round. Governing body: Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
