Farashganj SC
Farashganj Sporting Club, commonly known as Farashganj SC, is a football club from Farashganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1959. The team plays at Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium, which seats about 25,000. The club is chaired by Haji Mohammad Aslam and coached by Azmol Hossain Biddyut. Farashganj SC runs both men’s and women’s football teams. They played in the Bangladesh Premier League until 2017-18, later competing in the Bangladesh Championship League. After relegation in 2023-24, they are set to play in the Dhaka Senior Division League in the next season. The club is located in old Dhaka, between Ruplal House and Northbrook Hall.
