Family Guy season 23
Family Guy Season 23 aired mostly on Hulu before its Fox premiere. The season started with two holiday specials on Hulu: Halloween’s Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Cheater on October 14, 2024, and Christmas’ Gift of the White Guy on November 25, 2024. The 20-episode main season officially began on Fox on February 16, 2025, and concluded on July 17, 2025.
The season continues the 22nd production run, with showrunners Alec Sulkin and Richard Appel and executive producers including Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry, Patrick Warburton, and Arif Zahir. The two Hulu specials were created to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary.
Fox first announced the renewal for Seasons 22 and 23 in January 2023. In April 2024 it was revealed that the two holiday specials would be Hulu/Disney+ exclusive internationally. The season’s TV schedule shifted throughout the run: Sundays at 8:00 p.m. from February 23 to March 23, 2025; a February 16, 2025, 10:00 p.m. start due to the Daytona 500; 8:30 p.m. airings after The Simpsons from March 30 to May 18; and Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. from May 29 to July 17.
To mark its 25th anniversary, PaleyFest LA held a live table read on April 19, 2024, and Halloween and Christmas specials were released to celebrate. Peter also guest-starred on an episode of Hot Ones.
The main voice cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry, Patrick Warburton, and Arif Zahir. The show airs as part of Fox’s Animation Domination block, alongside The Simpsons, The Great North, and Grimsburg.
