Falmouth, Pennsylvania
Falmouth is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. As of 2020, 397 people lived there, down from 420 in 2010. The community sits in the northwestern corner of Lancaster County, where Conewago Creek flows into the Susquehanna River. Across Conewago Creek to the northwest is Londonderry Township in Dauphin County, and across the Susquehanna River to the southwest is York Haven in York County. The Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station lies about 2 miles to the north (now closed). Pennsylvania Route 441 passes through Falmouth, connecting Middletown 5 miles to the north and Bainbridge 4 miles to the southeast; Columbia is about 14 miles away. Lancaster, the county seat, is about 25 miles southeast. The area is about 1 square mile, essentially all land with only a tiny amount of water.
